Rather than put the HBCU forum on hiatus during the pandemic, we pivoted to a virtual format. This allowed us to continue and actually expand the forum during the crisis. The virtual format enabled us to provide a venue for participants to interact with a wider array of higher education experts, government officials, accreditors, and corporate partners. However, it lacked the dynamic energy and hands-on potential of in-person events. In light of this and in cooperation with the Wesley Peachtree Institute (WPI), our research division, we are launching an updated in-person format.

The new format supersedes our annual HBCU Forum. More focused, it features smaller in-person events tailored to targeted higher education leaders based on specific topics, challenging issues, and strategic initiatives essential to their respective roles. We anticipate hosting such events at least two quarters each calendar year.
